Teacher’s Day sparked a large and largely positive conversation on Facebook over the past year. From October 5, 2025 to October 5, 2026, the official dashboard logged 2,530 posts, 28,799 comments, 7,304 related comments, and 2,334,106 video views, for a Social Volume of 38,633 and an Engagement Score of 138,075.6. Sentiment leaned strongly toward affection: of the 651,863 reactions analyzed, Love made up 46.6% and Like 36.8%, while Haha accounted for 14.6% and Sad and Angry together stayed under 1%.
Teacher appreciation and greetings were the largest storyline with 753 posts, followed by school and official celebrations with 647 and commercial Teacher’s Day offers with 380. Posting peaked on October 5, 2025 with 615 posts, and a second rise came around October 5, 2026.
Volume and impact told different stories, though. Human-interest teacher stories made up just 54 posts but averaged 229.8 engagement each, and humor posts, only 23 in all, averaged 921.9.
The most loved post was a Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho feature on 87-year-old teacher Ma’am Rosalinda Gubac, which drew 35,062 Love reactions, or 64% of its total.
The most engaging post was a joke greeting from Domar Cimafranca 2.0, where 98.9% of 12,673 reactions were Haha, so it reflects playful humor rather than the wider mood.
Goldilocks’ Mamon Bouquet promotion ranked second, and a smaller thread on teacher allowances, pay, and workload showed some audiences asking whether recognition is matched by support.
Teacher’s Day on Facebook shows that audiences celebrate teachers warmly, but they respond most to real people, real gestures, and real support. Greetings fill the feed, while concrete stories and practical help give recognition its meaning.
